why is that so few good bands want to come to Vancouver?

well, Metric is coming but they are sold out already. I don't know if I will still be here for The Dø in September so I'm too afraid to buy tickets now!



and of course I already missed The xx. Dammit!

The xx are a three-piece band from London, England, formed in 2005. So far, 4 singles and 1 studio album have been released.

daria werbowy recites the poem "thunder, perfect mind" in prada commercial. it is a lovely piece of work. i like the beautiful images and the ambient music, although i don't think it's a best idea to use a gnostic poem to sell perfume.



here are a few lines:
